Well it is the New Year and a Monday ... so I'll get right down to the statistics :)
Surprising news came from a couple of newer articles
How to French Kiss Good - Had over 400 views!
How to Lose Weight Ultra Fast - 60 vies in the first day!
Days into project: 26
Days left of project: 339
Total Articles Written: 15 (The Article on Roy Disney was removed...I knew it didn't really fit well but just really wanted to write and article about him after he died)
Average Articles per day: WAY...LESS THAN 1 per day :(
Articles left to write: 1417
Article views: 1281
Article earnings: 2009 End of year (Dec. 9th -31st) $2.25
January $.06
So as you can see there was a HUGE jump (relatively speaking) in earnings at the end of last week. I'm excited to see progress on these articles and their earnings.
Currently I'm finished a project for a client on Elance and as soon as that project is done I'll be able to concentrate more on my eHow articles (and Demand Studios). But I have only finished 8 out of 20 chapters for this client so I have to get his work done!
What was your New Year's Resolution?
I don't really set Ney Year's Resolutions because I always have so much going on in my life. And I'm always adding new and interesting things that I would like to do. I think my project 1432 and the marathon I'm training for in May are probably enough things for me to be working towards in this new year...I'm not going to bog myself down with something else.
But I was really thinking of going the year without television. I just thought WOW that would be a fun experiment. But no way my other half is going to agree to that. I've asked to go a month without T.V. before and he threatened divorce..haha!
Happy Monday
Happy New Year too!

Just so you know - going without television is not as bad as it sounds. My dh was not happy when I decided to take the tv out of our main living area and just have one in the master bedroom when we moved 2 years ago. It was the best thing ever for our marriage. We go through seasons where it could be weeks without turning on the tv. What do we do instead? Talk, read books, plan the week, be husband and wife, and just enjoy each others company. I encourage you to give it a try when the time is right - you will be pleasantly surprised!
ReplyDeleteOh Stephanie...I SO want to! But my man is so addicted to television. His constant phrase is "I just want to watch _____. It only comes one _____ times." haha... football, wrestling, family guy, simpsons... there is always something to fill the blank with..haha!
ReplyDeleteI understand completely. We have other people we know who we keep encouraging. The time will come one day (it may be several years down the road) when something will happen and it will work. I have to admit that we are expecting our 3rd baby and I am 7 weeks along. Last week a small 10 inch television "appeared" in our main living room. Why? A distraction for my two children (18 months and 3 1/2) when I am in the bathroom vomiting or can hardly move because I am so nauseaus. So, we are definitely not perfect! But, even with that in the main area, it is still off the majority of the time. I can hardly stand the noise of it! Also, we are snowed in as well - can't even get to the end of our gravel road the drifts are so high and still no sign of a road maintainer. Oh, the life in the wintery midwest. Stay warm and keep that chin up! :-)
